Tokrat sem se odločila, da drsečko naredim nekoliko drugače in zato sem se odločila, da bom malega ježka skrila za velikega in tako dosegla element presenečenja. Pri mojih domačih je delovalo! Si tudi ti mislila, da se bo premaknil velik ježek? :D
I decided to make a slider card that will be a bit different than usual, so I hid the little hedgehog behind the big one and make it a surprise. It worked with my family! Did you also think that the big hedgehog will move? :D

Po dolgem času sem spet izdelala tresočko. Odločila sem se, da bom tele prikupne vidre pobarvala in jih postavila okrog mojega tresočega okenčka. Nisem kaj preveč komplicirala in sem zato dodala le še napis in pa malo potiskanega zelenega papirja. :)
I made a shaker card this time! I decided to use this cute otters and put them around my shaker. I didn't want to make it too complicated so I just added the sentiment and some green patterned paper. :)

Danes je prav poseben dan. Zakaj? To je namreč moja zadnja objava kot članica DT Christmas card throwdown izziva. To odločitev sem sprejela, ker se sem se pridružila ekipi Honey bee stamps in bom imela s tem kar nekaj dela. Vseeno upam, da bom našla dovolj časa in bom sodelovala v kar čim več izzivih, ki nam jih bodo pripravile članice DT. :)

Čestitka je res preprosta, a vseeno dovolj zanimiva, da hrestač pritegne pogled. Končno pa sem se spet 'opogumila' in uporabila malo potiskanega papirja! Jeeej. :)
This card is quite simple but yet interesting enough that you look on the focal point of a nutcracker. I finally used some patterned paper again! Yaaay. :)

Odbijajoče embosiranje - Emboss resist

Danes pa čestitka ni poletna, ampak sem se podala v bolj nežne vode. :D

Today my card isn't summer themed and I used more soft colors. :D

Look:

Čestitka temelji na tehniki 'odbijajočega embosiranja' (joj te moji prevodi! :D), ki se ji po angleško reče emboss resist. Cilj tehnike je, da embosiran odtis ostane v željeni barvi, med tem ko mi barvamo oziroma senčimo ostalo. Sama sem rožice embosirala s prozornim prahom na bel papir, tako da so ob nanašanju distress barv na njih, rožice ostale bele barve. :)
This card is based on the emboss resist technique. The goal of which is to keep an embossed area in the color you want while you apply another colors on top. I embossed the flowers with clear embossing powder on white cardstock, so when I applied the distress inks they stayed white. :)

Ob vsej poplavi piratskih štampiljk sem jaz preprosto morala uporabiti te prikupne pirate, ki jih ima Jane v ponudbi že kar nekaj časa! Odločila sem se uporabiti tehniko imenovano 'barvno pljuskanje' (ink smooshig). Več v videu! :D
With all these new pirate sets coming out I just had to use this cute pirates that Jane has in her shop for quite a while! I decided to go with a ink smooshing technique. More in the video! :D

Tokrat sem se odločila, da bo moj mali pingvinček odšel plavat in zato, sem ga postavila na morsko ozadje, ki sem ga izdelala z ZIG flomastri. Dodala sem mu še palme, črne črte in pa napis, ter čestitka je bila že končana! :)
I decided to put my little penguin in the sea and that's why I made this water background with my ZIGs. I added the palm trees, black stripes and the sentiment. And this card was all finnished! :)

Spet balon! - Hot air balloon, again!

Izpiti se (spet) z veliko hitrostjo približujejo in jaz se trudim, da bi do takrat naredila kar se da veliko čestitk, da vam bom imela kaj za pokazat, ko ne bom ustvarjala.. :D

Ja, spet balon! Vsakič, ko zagledam te štampiljke se nasmehnem in ideje kar kopnijo iz mene! Tudi tokrat je bilo tako. :) Najprej sem naredila ozadje iz različnih barv modrega paprija, ki sem jih nato skupaj zalepila na eno podlago in jih izrezala z šablono najlepšega para v čudovit pravokotnik. Pobarvala sem še moj balon in pa slončka, ter dodala napis. Čestitka je bila skoraj končana! Vse kar je ostalo za narediti, je bilo izrezati oblake iz pavs papirja in vse skupaj prilepiti na osnovo. :)
Yes, hot air balloon again! Everytime I see these stamps I just smile and I have a million ideas what to do with them! This time was no different. :) I made my background piece with different colors of blue cardstock stripes that I glued down on a base. Next, I colored my balloon and elephant. The card was almost finnished! The onlything left was to emboss the sentiment, diecut the clouds and glur everything together. That's it! :)
