it's time for the blog hop celebrating Studio Katia new release and 2nd birthday! This release includes 6 new clear stamp sets and 4 coordinating dies, 4 new stand alone Creative Dies, 2 stencils and new embellishments! :)
Živjo!
Čas še za blog hop ob praznovanju nove izdaje Studio Katia štampiljk in šablon. Tokratna izdaja vsebuje kar 6 novih setov štampiljk in pripadajočih rezalnih šablon, 4 nove posamezne rezalne šablone, 2 plastični šabloni in pa kar nekaj novih dodatkov za dekoracijo! :)
This is a first card I have prepared for today:
I was super excited when I saw that Studio Katia is coming out with stitching die, so this card was the first I made with the new release. I colored the animals using alcohol markers and put them on top of my stitching so it looks like the stitching is water. I finished the card off with the sentiment that reads 'may your birthday be as awesome as you are!' :)
The second card:
Še druga čestitka:
This card looks easier to make, but it took as much time as the first one. First, I ink blended three colors on my paper and die cut them with the new Halftone die. It took quite some time to put the little circles back in it's place, but it was worth it since I love this background. Next, I added a shell and a mermaid holding a gift in the center of the card, along with fun sentiment at the bottom.
To celebrate our 2nd birthday we are having two blog hops (today and tomorrow) and Studio Katia is picking 2 winners to win a 100$ gift certificates each day! The winners will be chosen randomly from comments left on ALL blogs of our Blog Hop. :)

I like how you made the stitching detail look like an ocean. Most of the time I see this type of stitching, it is all rainbow and frankly that gets boring. I am so glad that you changed it up for us and showed us a different twist! Your shell card with the mermaid is lovely. I like how you made the shell with the vellum. Is it also a shaker card too? I could not tell. It is different and I like that! Both cards are just wonderful and thank you for sharing your inspiration!
