Today I am up on Jane's doodles blog with a simple girly birthday card. :)

As you can see the card is really easy to make, but I know that the girl I made it for will love it. For the images I used alcohol markers to color them in. :)
Kot lahko vidiš je ta čestitka res preprosta za izdelavo, ampak jaz vem, da je bo dekle, za katero sem jo izdelala, zelo veselo. Odtise sem tudi tokrat pobarvala z alkoholnimi flomastri. :)

As you probably know I love making cute cards, so today I decided to make one for a girls birthday. I used adorable bear and made it's balloons pink. :)
Kot verjetno veš jaz preprosto obožujem prikupne voščilnice in zato sem se odločila, da danes naredim eno za dekliški rojstni dan. Uporabila sem prikupnega medvedka, ki pa sem mu dodala roza balone. :)

The theme this time around is SPIRAL and I decided to use it on my background. It's an ocean stamp, so I went with a birhtday themed mermaid card. :)
Tokratna tema so SPIRALE in odločila sem se, da jih uporabim na ozadju. Ker je tako nastalo morsko ozadje sem naredila poletno rojstnodnevno čestitko z morsko deklico. :)

I made this:

Danes sem uporabila nov set imenovan 'Off the charts'. Odločila sem se, da bom šla malo iz cone udobja in tako na čestitki ni skoraj nič belega. Tako sem na koncu uporabila le potiskan papir, nekaj barvnih blazinic in pa papir v naravni barvi. :)

Today I used the new set called 'Off the charts'. I decided to go a bit out of my comfort zone so I made a card that has almost no white on it. In the end, I end up using some patterned paper, some ink pads and a piece of kraft card stock. :)

Odbijajoče embosiranje - Emboss resist

Danes pa čestitka ni poletna, ampak sem se podala v bolj nežne vode. :D

Hello there,

Today my card isn't summer themed and I used more soft colors. :D

Look:

Čestitka temelji na tehniki 'odbijajočega embosiranja' (joj te moji prevodi! :D), ki se ji po angleško reče emboss resist. Cilj tehnike je, da embosiran odtis ostane v željeni barvi, med tem ko mi barvamo oziroma senčimo ostalo. Sama sem rožice embosirala s prozornim prahom na bel papir, tako da so ob nanašanju distress barv na njih, rožice ostale bele barve. :)
This card is based on the emboss resist technique. The goal of which is to keep an embossed area in the color you want while you apply another colors on top. I embossed the flowers with clear embossing powder on white cardstock, so when I applied the distress inks they stayed white. :)

Tudi ta mesec sodelujem pri Gerda Steiner designs izzivu in tokrat so nam pripravili prikupno dekle s šopkom. Sama sem se odločila, da jo postavim kot osrednji element in ji dodam obleko iz potiskanega papirja, da jo malo poživi. :)
I made this card for this month Gerda Steiner designs challenges and they gave us this cute girl to work with. I decided to put her at the center and add a paperpieced dress to make it a bit more interesting. :)

Tokratni izziv je tale recept: 1 slika (jaz sem uporabila prečudovit digi sponzorja Lemon Shortbread), 2 dodatka (bunkici), 3 papirji (papir v ozadju in pa oba kroga). Jaz verjamem, da ti bo uspelo slediti receptu in se nam boš pridružila tudi tokrat! :)

Ptički čivkajo

Živjo,
Na ta prečudovit septembrski dan sem se odločila končno spet narediti čestitko za Craftalnico, ki nam tokrat ponujajo super skico. :)

Nastalo je tole:

Preprosto nisem mogla iz svoje kože in zato sem spet posegla po prečudovitih živalcah - tokrat ptičkih. Skico sem interpretirala na svoj način, ampak mislim, da sem zadela bistvo. :)
